Laymens' DepartmentMessage from Vice President Turman
On behalf of the Laymen’s Department of the Progressive National Baptist Convention Inc. I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
It is with great joy and love that I am writing to you today. Thank you for granting me this awesome privilege to lead august body of men. I am committed to building upon the success, dedication and commitment of those who came before me.
Our work this year will be a combination of exciting tasks due to COVID-19 and our first ever Virtual Annual Session. The PNBC
Virtual Annual Session is an opportunity for all of us to experience the latest technology that enables us to spread the Gospel throughout the world, quickly and efficiently.
My brothers, our financial commitments are still needed to cover the work of the Convention. Please go to the PNBC website, click donate and make your financial contribution of $60 to assist in our work for COVID-19. Our service has only been possible through both the financial and physical support of many members, friends and volunteers as we serve God by serving our fellow man.
In closing, we thank God for the opportunity to serve this great Convention and the Laymen’s Department; I look forward to us having a blessed time in the service of the Lord.
May God Bless and Keep You All.
