Women's Department
From The Desk Of President Edna Holloway
I am truly grateful to the Women’s Department of the Progressive National Baptist Convention, Inc. (PNBC). Your faithful love for Christ is reflected in the support and trust you have shown me as your President.
Together, we serve God’s people in word and deed through the Ministry of the Women’s Department. We are a family of faith that is sealed with the Holy Spirit and sent forth by Christ to proclaim His love and mercy with all whom we encounter; especially those women most in need spiritually, physically, and emotionally.
Great things are happening in the Women’s Department this year. COVID-19 has provided an opportunity for us to participate in the very first Progressive National Baptist Convention, Inc. Virtual Annual Session. What we will learn and share at this event is amazing. The idea of knowing God’s Word will be shared all over the world through the latest technology is incredible and we look forward to it with great anticipation.
Many other exciting events will take place during the year. We will continue to build on the strong legacy of the Women’s Department and provide programs designed to help women of all ages and stages of life grow closer to God through discipleship and fellowship.
Our support for the Convention will not waiver. Now more than ever our financial support is needed to ensure that people have access to the Word of God and that we are taking care of those in need. I encourage you to remember your financial commitment and make your contribution before leaving the Website.
I look forward to continuing our work together for Christ. Sincerely,
Edna I. Holloway,
Vice-President-At-Large PNBC Women’s Department
