Music and Fine Arts Gathering
To our PNBC Family: Pastors, Musicians, Choir members, and Music leaders of all Departments!
Join us as we welcome Dr. James Abbington, Associate Professor of Church Music and Worship at Candler School of Theology, Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and Adjunct Professor of Church Music at Morehouse College in Atlanta, who has been appointed by President Timothy Stewart as the PNBC National Music Coordinator.
Under the leadership of Dr. Abbington and Lady Merdean Gales, Chief of Protocol-Assistant, The new PNBC Music and Fine Arts Gathering will prepare and produce a National Mass Choir and Orchestra, and other fine art supports such as: praise and worship teams, creative praise dancers, soloists, drama, tambourines etc. to perform throughout the PNBC 58th Annual Session.
We are bound to the scripture 150 Psalms, “Let everything that has breath praise the lord“; and true to our credo, “Progress, fellowship service and peace.” Our mission is to share a higher level of praise and worship with our Convention attendees by educating, training and fellowshipping with those who are interested in becoming a part of the PNBC Music and Fine Arts Gathering.
We will meet Monday, August 5, 2019 from 4:30PM-6:30PM in Centennial I-III at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta and daily after each Plenary session. Please register and sign up at the Convention Registration Desk. More information will be provided to you as we get closer to the date of the 58th Annual Session.
“Get Ready Get Set” meet us at the Music and Fine Arts Gathering! You will be excited and spiritually blessed!
