Mildred Louise Wormley peacefully went home to be with our Lord and joined the love of her life, Ernest D. Wormley, SR. on November 8, 2019. Mildred was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church in Trenton, New Jersey. Mildred served as the President of the Progressive National Baptist Convention, Inc. Women’s Department. Mildred was honored to have the PNBC Women’s Department name a scholarship for a 4-year student in the amount of $10,000 after her as the Mildred L. Wormley Scholarship.
